The Treasurer's office is authorized by the State of Kansas to apply for title, issue registration and tags for cars, trucks, motorcycles, motorbikes, trailers and also ATV's (title only). In some situations, sales tax will be collected at the Treasurer's Office even if some has already been collected at the dealership. Handicap placards, special plates, and temporary permits are also supplied through this vehicle registration process.
The state now offers on-line renewal option, please keep in mind that not all vehicles qualify for this service. If you are considering using this service please allow 10 business days to receive your decals.
