About Us
The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for tax billing, collection, and distributions of local tax money for the state, county, cities, schools, and other taxing entities within the county that levy Ad Valorem and/or special assessment taxes.
This office manages all money belonging to the county and/or directed by law to be paid to the treasurer.
We handle the registration and the titling of motor vehicles for the Kansas Department of Revenue
We are a limited service Driver’s License Station.
IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
February 28th – Last day for Farm, Heavy Truck and Commercial Tag renewals
April 1st – Commercial and Heavy Truck Quarter Pay 2nd payment Deadline
May 10th – 2nd Half Property taxes due for Real Estate, Personal Property, Trucks, Oil, etc
July 1st – Commercial and Heavy Truck Quarter Pay 3rd Payment Deadline
October 1st – Commercial and Heavy Truck Quarter Pay 4th Payment Deadline
December 20th – 1st Half Property taxes due for Real Estate, Personal Property, Trucks, Oil, etc
